Dr. Erin Baker
Dr. Baker (she/her) is an assistant professor of sociology at Minot State University in North Dakota. Her areas of focus are gender, homeschooling, motherhood, education, and mental health. In the past she’s researched relational aggression (bullying) in adolescent girls, implicit bias in K-12 teachers, and the mental health and stress experienced by homeschooling mothers.
Dr. Baker is the creator and host of Making The Familiar Strange. She’s also one of the hosts for Feminist Intersections, a podcast created by Sociologists for Women in Society.
